What the buyer wrote

The aim of the Service is to give people in Lincolnshire a greater say in how the health and care system works. This service was a central pillar of the coalition Government’s ambition and a key component of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (“the Act”). To achieve this, Government outlined a framework for a network of local Healthwatch organisations with the aim of creating a credible, representative, and influential public voice in the system. The Provider is expected to be responsible for providing this service, liaising closely with the Council. The service will be available to the whole population of Lincolnshire.
