The Multifunctional Materials Manufacturing Lab in the Wolfson School is seeking the commissioning of a bench top laboratory extruder that allows the mixing and extrusion of materials suitable for a foaming stage that can be further treated in the discharge chamber. We are seeking a small device capable of mixing polymeric foams that can be extruded in a foam format. The base of our work resides on the manipulation of polymer properties after it has been discharged, therefore, this extruder should be as self-contained, automated and trouble-shooted as possible.
