The Forestry Commission is expanding it's underplanting programme from 100ha per annum to 260ha per annum. The tender will be split across two lots. Lot 1 requires forest residue to be mulched within felled rack, machinery must be able to mulch forest residue and stumps up to 40cm in diameter producing a fine level mulch with stumps mulched flat to ground level.
