The National Railway Museum Central Hall Design Competition seeks an outstanding integrated team to design a new centrepiece building and propose enhancements to some of the fabric, infrastructure and organisation of the existing museum buildings.The Central Hall will unite the core museum buildings, combining a new entrance experience with public-facing spaces for exhibition, orientation and reception.The circa 4,500 sqm building needs to seamlessly integrate with existing museum spaces and will feature a spectacular new 1,000 sqm gallery.
