The provider will offer a community-based skin surgery service will integrate fully with primary care, the patients’ registered GP and the local hospital based MDTs where appropriate. The provider can elect to provide all or any one of the following specifications of service, namely: - Specialist skin surgery - Ophthalmic surgery - Non-scalpel vasectomy The commissioners requires a responsive community-based service model with the overall aim to provide routine, clinically appropriate diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions requiring a certain level of skin surgery and support for primary care clinicians in the management of patients.
