NHS Bradford Districts CCG and Bradford City CCG Endoscopy Services AQP

Gastrointestinal endoscopy is the direct visualisation of the gastrointestinal tract. Gastrointestinal endoscopy is used for diagnosis and treatment of gastroenterology disorders. Patients will have their diagnostic procedure in a locally accessed environment that meets legislative requirements. The aim of the service is to aid early diagnostics, avoid the need for unnecessary referral to secondary care and to support the delivery of activity in the community setting where this will improve access.
