NEW Devon CCG currently has a backlog of outstanding pre-April 2016 Continuing Healthcare (CHC) assessments. Currently NEW Devon CCG does not have the capacity in its Assessment and Review teams to clear the backlog without a detrimental impact on current assessments. The number of cases is still being worked through and defined – however it is anticipated that an initial cohort of 100 cases will be ready to be processed (with the expectation that more will follow as those cases are cleared).
