Northampton Borough Council have a legal duty to arrange the burial or cremation of any person who has died within our area where it appears to the authority that no suitable arrangements for the disposal of the body have been made. We are seeking a Provider to carry out the work required to arrange such burials or cremations as outlined in the specification. The service will be required from 1st August 2017 for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further period of up to 1 year, taking the total contract term to a maximum of 4 years.
