P0415 - Provision of Data to Maximise Business Rate Retention

Birmingham City Council wishes to establish a contract for the provision of a service to Maximise Business Rate Retention. This contract is for Birmingham City Council only. This work had 4 key objectives: • To identify any non-domestic properties that are not assessed for Business Rates • To identify any non-domestic properties that are under-assessed due to, for example, alterations made to the property that are not reflected in its current assessment • To report these to the Valuation Office Agency and monitor to ensure they are reflected in the rating list • To subsequently record and monitor the additional Business Rates…
