This training is crucial to enable staff to keep vulnerable young people and staff safe in emergency situations. PRICE (Protecting Rights In a Caring Environment Ltd) are part of the restraint reduction network which enables them to focus on escalation as well as the techniques to use when needing to physically restrain. Their model of work is backed up by research and biomechanics from the university of Worcester. PRICE have worked with ECC to embed the trauma informed practice into the training.
