Currently we have up to 500 Passenger Assistants who support the Council in transporting 4000 Special Educational Needs and Disabled children daily around the city to their places of education. The role of the Passenger Assistant is pivotal to keeping the young people safe and so we are looking to upskill and invest in them to carry out this vital role.
