Provision a PCSS (Primary Care Streaming Service)

The Primary Care Streaming Service (PCSS) will be provided from the Kettering General Hospital site located within the Emergency Department (ED) The key requirements for the PCSS are: • Provide the right care, by the most appropriate person, in the right setting ensuring consistent responses at the first point of contact. • Streaming non-urgent patients that attend the Emergency Department back to primary care. • Primary care GP working closely with their ED colleagues to collaboratively lead the provision of Primary Care Services at KGH • Access for walk-in patients will be via the Clinical Streamer if appropriate providing a seamless pathway to any further assessment required includ…
