Provision of a Medical Care and Coordination Service to Global Operations

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to alert interested parties to a requirement to provide a Medical Care and Coordination Service for up to seven hundred and fifty (750) MoD personnel deploying to a variety of world-wide locations. Small teams of personnel may deploy at short (less than two days) notice including to areas that may be considered non-permissive and where the local healthcare standard is assessed as being generally below western standards. Moreover, these teams may deploy for varying durations with limited or no organic medical capability to locations that may be significant distances from major population centres in countries with poor transport infrastructure.…
