Provision of Audit and Assurance Services

The WMCA on behalf of the MMA requires a suitably experienced and accredited organisation to deliver a wide variety of auditing and assurance services. This role is identified under the Programme Alliance Agreement (PAA). The roles and activities are specifically referred to under clause 32.2 (with reference back to clause 32.1) in which the 'Alliance Auditor(s)' are to be appointed by the Alliance Leadership Team (ALT). There is further to this, the opportunity for the Owner to appoint an Owner's Auditor (clause 32.2.A) to undertake any audit of the type permitted under clause 32 i.e. undertake the same audit as that permitted by the Alliance Auditor(s).
