Provision of economic data, software, and media

The ONS is looking to explore alternative data sources that can be used to streamline our current processes. The aim is to utilise a single data source (database) rather than conducting the current scrutiny process across multiple media sources. If a suitable and reliable database can be found that meets the Economic Statistics list of requirements then the ONS would look to utilise this. ONS requires Suppliers to provide full access to a web-based portal database or website service for three or more ONS users, to provide access to a data series that offer ONS the capacity to have a better understanding of the state of the UK and global economy, allowing us to engage with economists …
