Provision of Healthwatch County Durham

The primary objective of the Contract and in accordance with government guidance, Durham County Council (DCC) must commission a service to work with local people across the County. Healthwatch County Durham (HWCD) will be the local, independent consumer champion for health and social care, providing a focus for the voices of citizens and ensuring that local people and communities have a stronger influence and challenge on how health and social services are commissioned and provided in County Durham. The organisation will seek permission from Healthwatch England (HWE) to use the Healthwatch branding in its marketing and publicity by completing a local Healthwatch trade mark licence agreement.…
