1) ONR Civil Nuclear reactor Programme (CNRP) are required to undertake assessments and inspections of items of safety significance as part of the process of licensing new build civil pressurised light water reactors. Occasionally ONR will need to contract out some routine work, mainly review/collation of technical documentation, providing local arrangements for inspections and undertaking inspections on behalf of ONR. This work could be in the UK and abroad, requiring the 3rd party to have a presence or be able to provide a presence in all required geographical areas. Currently, ONR require the tendering organisation to have a presence in the UK, France and Japan.
