What the buyer wrote

Cumberland Council have a statutory duty to respond to, collect and kennel any dog that is deemed to be stray. The legislation that governs this states that the dog is to be kennelled for a minimum of 7 days with attempts being made to contact any identified owner through the Microchip (if present). In the event that no owner is located and the 7 day period is up, the dog can then be progressed to be rehomed or euthanised.
