Provision to undertake Statutory Assessments in Children's Social Care

To provide a managed service to undertake Statutory Assessments over a 30 day period, completing 108 stat assessments and associated activities which may include Child Protection investigations. Swindon Children's social care is working with unprecedented high numbers of children in need, children on a CP plan and Children in Care. Demand is rising and recruitment of permanent staff is very difficult. These are national trends and Swindon Borough Council is no exception. We would like to procure a team of 6 social workers and a team manager, working on 18 assessments each, in order add capacity to the Assessment and Child Protection Team.
