QUB/2428/23 - Contract for Supply, Delivery, Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Consumables for a triple quadrupole mass spectrometry system
What the buyer wrote
Following the award of a 2023 UKRI-BBSRC mid-range equipment grant, the School of Biological Sciences is seeking to procure a mass spectrometry system coupled to multiple methods of pre-ionisation separation for small molecule analysis. This system will be focused on the development of novel workflows to improve the sustainability of mass spectrometry analysis. The system will include a triple quadrupole instrument, that is equipped with both an electrospray ionisation (ESI) and desorption electrospray ionisation (DESI) source, paired with supercritical fluid chromatography and two-dimensional liquid chromatography systems.
