Quotation for Archaeology Test Pitting and Final Assessment Dig Jane Pit, Workington

Workington Town Council is seeking tenders for the provision of archaeological services in relation to delivering two projects, an initial test pit project and the opportunity to design and develop a larger archaeological dig. This is a part of a funded project, by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), to develop a miner's memorial at Jane Pit in Workington. The initial test digs for this project will see you support and deliver a small scale community archaeology event at the site. This will include a mix of younger and older volunteers.
