The ÄKTA pure is a flexible and intuitive modular system for the reliable purification of proteins and other biomolecules. The instrument is a FPLC type system. GE healthcare alone manufacture this type of equipment in a protein separation format to the required specification. The Pure is the latest system that has replaced the AKTA Purifier and AKTA Explorer systems.
