The solution needs to be able to link to third party datasets with the following data being required as a minimum: • Companies House data. • Private investment in SMEs and start-ups, this needs to be verified investment, where verification needs to be comparable to Beauhurst or Pitchbook as this is specified by our funders. • Grants given to SMEs and start-ups, which also needs to be verified as above. • Turnover of SME and start-ups where they report this to Companies House or other reliable sources. • Headcount of SMEs and start-ups again using Companies House, if other sources are used (such as LinkedIn) this can be useful, but it needs to be possible to switch this off.
