In pursuance of the Council’s obligations as a waste collection and disposal authority the Council has awarded through competitive tender four contracts for the provision of Treatment and/or Disposal Services for Contract Waste. Due to the scope of the services and the nature of the residual waste, the procurement process was split into two separate Lots as follows: LOT 1 – Treatment Services – Kerbside Residual Waste LOT 2 - Treatment and/or Disposal Services – Bulky Residual Waste Two contracts were awarded within each Lot as it demonstrated value for money to do so.
