Review of Pathology and Mortuary Services The majority of the West Midlands metropolitan area (six of the seven local authorities) is covered by two coronial jurisdictions: Birmingham and Solihull, and the Black Country (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton).
