What the buyer wrote

As part of the Council's commitment to excellent play facilities, it is seeking suitably qualified contractors and suppliers to deliver a new scheme of works to improve and upgrade the main play park and managed open green space within Carbis Bay, St Ives. The tender has been divided into two distinct packages, one for the supply and installation of a new play park and the second for the broader landscaping within the open green space. It is the intention to award a contract to a specialist play park provider for the fabrication, supply and installation of a play park as specified, together with a separate package for the landscaping of the broader green space.
