This is a partnership agreement between Natural England and West Cumbria Rivers Trust, the purpose of which is to contribute a number of SSSI remedies for management impacting on the interest features of the River Derwent and tributaries and Bassenthwaite Lake SSSI's. The project will contribute to the River Corridor Group (RCG) which is delivered in partnership with West Cumbria Rivers Trust, the Environment Agency and local angling groups.
