The Authority requires a small amount of specialist expertise from a press officer with experience and knowledge of the lobby, the work of the Committee and awareness of the standards arena. Taking into account the routine demands of the Authority this would amount to approximately 25-30 hours of press officer services a month rising to 40 hours a month during exceptional periods of CSPL inquiries and/or media controversies.
