What the buyer wrote

The aim of the project is to:
1. provide new information on scallop stocks densities and structure in the inshore area which is currently limited (all catches, sizes, measured and aged).
2. investigate the potential impacts of scallop potting in currently unfished areas.
3. ascertain whether scallop potting presents an overexploitation risk to crabs, lobsters, and scallops.
4. review the potential wider impacts (bycatch/discards) of using light in scallop pots.
