SCC LP Support for Surrey's Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE)

The 1988 Education Reform Act placed a statutory requirement on every Local Authority (LA) to establish a permanent body called a Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE). The RE curriculum is determined by the local SACRE which is responsible for producing the locally agreed syllabus for RE.
