SCC LP Valuing Community Transport

Over the years Surrey County Council has been supporting the community transport sector both strategically and financially. As part of a Total Transport Pilot Funding initiative, Surrey County Council alongside it’s partners East & West Sussex County Council and Brighton and Hove City Council, is interested in undertaking a valuation of community transport journeys. The aim is to estimate the potential value of the reduction in health and social care costs that could be brought about by community transport.
