It is bordered to the north by Hillingdon and Ealing, to the south by Richmond, to the east by the inner London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and to the west by the county of Surrey. The borough comprises four main town centres Chiswick, Hounslow, Brentford and Feltham and a number of urban villages: Heston, Bedfont, Isleworth and Cranford.
