This Contract/s will encompass the provision of reception, handling and waste haulage via a Site/s (i.e. the proposed Provider waste transfer station/s) conveniently located to serve the Canterbury City Council and Thanet District Council administrative areas. This/these haulage Site/s arrangement/s will provide the capacity to receive, control and re-load deposited waste at the approved Site/s and will also provide the means of transferring this Waste to the Allington Waste to Energy facility in the case of residual waste (although any temporary closure may mean diversion into alternative waste treatment sites which may include alternative waste treatment facilities).
