Because of this it was felt the current contracts were not fit for purpose and the Council took legal action to cease the contracts and negotiate new contracts with the same providers under PCR2015 Reg 32 (2) (c). The new contracts were back dated to commence on 1st May 2020 for 10 months to allow for a competitive tender process to be carried out…
