Stonebridge Gardens Landscaping

A detailed design for Stonebridge Gardens has been completed following on from an extensive period of community consultation. The scheme focuses on the provision of older children’s play opportunities (as this is a conditional use of the Section 106 funding which is integral to the project). The design is characterised by the provision of a new central active area (replacing the existing large and unused tarmac area at the centre of the park), re-surfacing of existing areas to create a new civic space and the provision of pop-up services for planned events/markets in the area adjacent to the Overground station.
