The Council?s objective is to minimise the amount of stock it holds in its own stores by working closely with a supply partner. This will be achieved by weekly ?just in time? deliveries to the stores facilities at Croft and Mountsorrel Depots. The supply chain partner will be expected to work in partnership with the Highway?s Procurement Team to act as a broker and be proactive in proposing purchasing solutions for materials not covered by the Contract schedules.
