Portsmouth City Council - the 'Council' - is inviting expressions of interest from experienced contractors for design and construction of structurally engineered surfacing suitable for the storage of containers at MMD Shipping Services Ltd (MMD) located within Portsmouth Harbour. MMD is a private sector organisation which is wholly owned by the Council. Award of the contract is scheduled for 5th February 2019 and is currently estimated at ?2.5M inclusive of contractor design costs.
