The contract will consist of the removal and replacement of failed structural elements on the pier as part of on-going maintenance and will include repairs to the main beams, deck beams, pile caps, cross bracing and bracing rails. Formed of wrought/cast iron and steel, failed members are to be removed and replaced with equivalent steel members.
