Provision of agar plate reading software and equipment

Public Health England (PHE) requires the provision of an agar plate reader and associated software for its Colindale bacteriology reference laboratories. The software and equipment, which will consist of a camera, light box and image analysis software, will be used to read agar dilution plates. Although this will be a capital purchase, it is intended that any service, support and supply of bespoke consumables (if applicable) will be covered for the lifetime of the equipment or until PHE re-tenders the requirement.
