We are looking to procure Validators to be situated at all our tram stops to allow customers to validate their journey start and end under the new BBYB (Buy Before You Board) scheme. Customers will be required to do this at each end of the journey. The Validators are expected to be in place and supported for twelve years. The Validators will need to accept ITSO, cEMV, and Barcodes. In total there are expected to be up to 250 Validators in place with an initial quantity of 132 installed on site together with the agreed number to allow testing and support.
