Supply of Sonic Anemometer equipment for the TRAIN Rig The University of Birmingham invites tenders for the supply of the following: Sonic Anemometers o A number of sonic anemometers required to produce time histories of three dimensional velocities within the TRAIN Rig building and at field sites (typically trackside). o Velocities in the range of 0 to 40m/s, with an accuracy of 0.2m/s, at a sampling rate of 100 samples / sec. o The anemometer head size to be smaller than 0.25 m x 0.25 m x 0.25 m for use in certain applications. o Quotes will be provided for 5, 10 and 15 anemometers, including any discounts for multiple purchases.…
