The equipment will have two main components as set out in the detailed specification requirements (namely CT1 and CT2) which are funded from two independent sources, namely: i) the Welsh Government’s Sêr Cymru II Infrastructure Accelerator Award Program; and ii) the EPSRC Core Equipment Grant Program with an internal Swansea University leveraged investment sourced from the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales HERC Program.
