Strategic Procurement are working together with our Stores Department, P2P, Health & Safety Dept. and Trading Standard partners to ensure a compliant route to market when sourcing PPE in line with demand figures and forecasted stock holdings. Although the Council currently has a live contracted PPE Framework contract in place, the provision of the instructed compliant PPE for use during the pandemic is outside the remit of the contracted items and therefore no obligations or conditions bound these suppliers to ensure our supply quantities.
