Supported Family Accommodation

The Council wishes to appoint provider(s) for Supported Family Accommodation. The open framework will provide supported accommodation for families. Appointed providers will provide and manage good quality accommodation and provide short term support to households referred into the accommodation to help them recover from homelessness and move on to sustainable housing (usually to meet VII Homelessness Duty). The majority of households will have low support needs, however, some may have a range of needs including mental ill health, substance misuse and psychological trauma.
