TC778 - Provision of cashless/mobile telephone payments

The Council?s cashless provision has been in place since 2011 and is an established, mature contract and the Council requires a Service Provider who is able to deliver robust implementation which ensures continuity of service both during and post implementation phase. Manchester City Council provides on street parking, which provides both cash and cashless payment methods. Currently there are circa 2300 on street parking bays in the City Centre Controlled Parking Zones. In addition there are currently 2 off street car parks operated by Parking Services where payment can be made using both cash and cashless methods.
