Derby City Council intends to appoint a Service Provider for the provision of specialist interior design, manufacture/supply and installation of soft furnishings, furniture, etc, in respect of the communal areas of Parkland View, an extra care development that is currently under construction for the Council. The company chosen to work with the Council will be required to design the internal colour schemes, furniture, soft furnishings, internal non-statutory signage and decorative accessories in a style that reflects current best practice to achieve an overall environment that is sympathetic to the needs of older people and those with dementia and similar age-related conditions.
