The Civil Aerospace unit sits within the Business and Local Growth group in BIS. The unit’s role is to support the growth and competitiveness of the UK’s aerospace sector. Other teams from BIS will also be actively involved in this project. The tender exercise is to seek an external advisor to support the work of the BIS Civil Aerospace team, who are responsible for providing risk-sharing investments with the aerospace industry for part-funding the design and development of new aerospace products.
