RAL Space will provide state -of-the-art receiver (detector) front-ends to three instruments on the MetOp-SG satellite mission. Several of the receivers will include IF processing units (IPUs) containing alumina ceramic Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) featuring a number of specialised soldered surface mount components that allow operation within the radio frequency range.
