Both vessels undertake cruises to support interdisciplinary ocean research ranging from the tropics to the edge of the ice sheets and continental margins to deep ocean projects. The RRS James Cook will be having an engine service and require labour to undertake the work and to ensure it is carried out to the OEM specification.
