The British Council is the main supplier for the UKVI IELTS. The new UKVI IELTS tests are Secure English Language Tests, approved by the UK Visas and Immigration Department. They have been in effect since 6th April 2015. The tests are taken at approved testing centres and provide evidence of the candidate's English language level in reading, writing, listening and speaking. The UKVI IELTS tests are scheduled 48 times per year.
